How to prepare your household goods
Appliances ready
Refrigerators, washing machines and freezers must be empty, clean and dry (defrosted) to avoid odours and damage in transit.
Furniture disassembled
When possible, we disassemble the furniture: it takes up less volume (you pay less) and travels better protected.
Fragile items well protected
Dishware, mirrors, glass and screens travel with special protection. If you need it, we arrange reinforced packing.
Inventory of contents
Prepare the packing list of your household goods: it speeds up customs clearance and serves as a reference at delivery.

Volume-based pricing (m³)
Household goods are charged by the volume they take up (height × width × length). The better you use the space — disassembled furniture, well-filled boxes —, the less you pay. The calculator gives you an instant estimate.

How are household goods charged?
Mainly by volume (m³), because they are bulky items; smaller things can be charged per package. Use the calculator for an estimate based on measurements.
Can I send appliances?
Yes: refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, cookers… They must be empty, clean and dry. Some items with batteries (e.g. lithium) have restrictions; check the prohibited goods and the customs regulations.
Do you disassemble the furniture?
Yes, when it makes sense. Disassembly reduces the volume (and the price) and protects the pieces better during transport.
Do you offer storage while I gather everything?
Yes. We keep your household goods in our warehouse in Zurich until the container departs, at no space cost to you.
